In the middle of the Korean capital, a new attraction has been laid out – a newly renovated town hall square with a 12,000 square metre lawn.
The grass-grown square provides the setting for cultural arrangements and invites visitors and the 10 million city-dwellers to relax. And a refreshing fountain with Grundfos pumps accentuates the good atmosphere.
The heart of the fountain consists of 21 submersible pumps, which send 120 cubic metres of water though 121 nozzles every hour, 24 hours a day. The choice of pumps has won recognition, because the installation only requires little space and because the noise from the pumps is minimal.
